Well... where to start. It has been a long time since I was here and much has happened. In Dec 2009 I developed a respiratory infection that sent me to the hospital. When I got there they discovered a heart condition (atrial fibrillation)that required blood thinners, which led to a large abdominal hematoma, which led to other abdominal complications, many surgeries and kept me in the hospital for many months. By the time it was clear I would survive this, I was so weak I had to go into rehab to re-learn basic things like sitting up and walking. I had more surgery in April and got out of the hospital in May of last year.

It has been months since I have been on here and I have not made anything 'creative' in longer than that. We are getting ready to move and cleaning our storage and stuff that is keeping me really busy and all my computer time seems to be spent on Facebook.
I hope everybody is doing well and hope to have tiome to get back to art when I am settled again in Rhode Island in a few months. New England should provide me many new photographic opportunities when I am not in boxes any more.
